Enrollment Analysis: white students comprised 5.8% of New Frontiers Public Schools Inc District's student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 10 white students enrolled in New Frontiers Public Schools Inc District in the 2022-23 school year, 42.9% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that New Frontiers Public Schools Inc District welcomed 171 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 5.8% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

New Frontiers Public Schools Inc District roughly covers schools within Bexar County and has a main office in San Antonio.

Frank L. Madla Early College High School was the only school in the district which enrolled white students, welcoming 10 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Education in Texas is often a hot button issue, especially as test scores lag behind other states.

"The problems commonly cited are flaws in the school financing system, relatively low teacher salary, poor test performance by students... dropouts from traditional schools in favor of charter schools... gun violence, and mental health issues," claimed the Texas Almanac.
