3% of Medina County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Medina County recorded an unemployment rate of 3% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 685 people out of the 50,458 living in Medina County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Medina County has decreased compared to the 3.3% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Medina County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.

Of the 22,137 people who had a job during that time, 183 were employed in the Armed Forces and 21,954 belonged to the civilian labor force.
