There were 138 Hispanic students enrolled in New Frontiers Public Schools Inc District in the 2021-22 school year, 70.3% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that New Frontiers Public Schools Inc District welcomed 149 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 92.6% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

New Frontiers Public Schools Inc District roughly covers schools within Bexar County and has a main office in San Antonio.

Frank L. Madla Early College High School was the only school in the district which enrolled Hispanic students, welcoming 138 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
