San Antonio City Councilwoman Rebecca Viagran recently joined the Southside Chamber at its Small Biz Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Pickup event.
According to the City of San Antonio, owners of local small businesses were invited to register in advance to pick up PPE kits for their companies free of charge. Kits included hand sanitizer and other products. The event was part of the Southside Chamber’s weeklong Feel Good Festival that featured wellness-related events on the Southside.
“Small business owners are the heart of this community. We need to make sure they receive all the equipment they need to stay safe while keeping their businesses open,” Viagran said. “I am glad to have partnered with the Southside Chamber on this event. It was great to see our community coming together during these unprecedented times.”
