Paladin is a new play by Andrew Heinrich. The play tells the story of a group of friends, trying to fight off the darkness of COVID-19, social upheaval, and isolation while discovering the courage to stand fast against the ever-deepening shadow all around us. The characters form a gaming group to break the monotony of quarantine, but outside forces of injustice which parallel the game world they play in, challenge all of them to stand within their truth. This play is a work in progress, and attendees will not only get to enjoy a staged reading of the play on Zoom but also participate in feedback sessions that might shift the action of the play from performance to performance.
