The South San Antonio Chamber of Commerce has passed a resolution that support funding for several educational programs.

The Pre-K 4 SA program, the San Antonio ISD Bonds, the City of San Antonio’s Workforce Development Initiative, and VIA Metropolitan Transit are all backed by the Chamber of Commerce

“These important propositions are at the end of a very full ballot, and we just want to make sure our members and the general public are acclimated with the proper information,” Chamber President and CEO Al Arreola Jr. said. “These initiatives bring an opportunity to invest in Southside infrastructure and human capital without any increases in sales or property taxes.”

Early voting will continue through Oct. 30 and the general election is Nov. 3. A copy of all resolutions passed by the board of directors can be found online
