On Saturday, April 5, former Southwest High School standout Nathan Gamez’s current college team, the Alcorn State Braves, lost 20-9 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Texas Southern Tigers.

The game took place at Willie E. “Rat” McGowan Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Braves’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at Willie E. “Rat” McGowan Stadium against Texas Southern Tigers.
