On Saturday, March 29, former East Central High School standout Izabella Valdez’s current college team, the St. Mary’s Rattlers, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the UT Tyler Patriots.

The game took place at The Park at St. Mary’s. This was their second matchup against the Patriots this season.

The Rattlers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 1 p.m. at Irwin Field against UT Tyler Patriots.
