On Friday, April 11, former Southwest High School standout Nathan Gamez’s current college team, the Alcorn State Braves, won 11-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Southern Jaguars.

The game took place at Lee-Hines Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Jaguars this season.

The Braves’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 3 p.m. at Lee-Hines Stadium against Southern Jaguars.
